It's ok, when lacking arguments, facetiousness is a popular method to avoid serious issues. I could easily meet the "steadily cuter ingredients" will steadily gruesomer replies. I wonder how long it'd take to get permanently banned from Hubski. Anyway, I don't mean to rain in your parade : ) I made my point, I'm done here.
I guess my point would be that there are places to have this conversation -which I'm glad to have. I'm married to a vegetarian that refuses to eat meat for many if the reasons is wager that you do, but this thread wasn't the place for it IMO. I don't think Hubski would ever permanently ban someone for being a vegetarian. However, if you're trolling the #grubski posts with pictures of baby cows, you are likely to get called out for it.
There's never a good time to bring it up. I have posted videos on the subject before but no-one engages. It's like the elephant in the room and every time I point at it I get told to sit down and shut up. That's the kind of response I expected to an inconvenient truth. By the way, I'm not racist, one of my friends is black ; )
Your wonky smiley faces just make your patronizing that much more...well, patronizing. You ever been married? It's a bit more than a tangential relationship.
I didn't mean to sound patronizing at all. It was my silly way of saying that loving a vegetarian should have no reflection on your ethical and animal rights views. They have their diet you have yours. And to associate yourself with your vegetarian partner to make yourself look better in this discussion, well, it comes across as an actof desperation when lacking valid arguments. Smiley face : )
You have said, "I made my point" and now accuse me of desperation for lack of a valid argument. You've made no points. You've posted images of cute animals. How is this a discussion? Ask me a question, make a point and I'll reply with a thoughtful answer. Post pictures of cute animals and you'll get the like. I'm not trying to "make myself look better" -I am that I am. I eat meat, unapologetically. I wrote: If you'd like to discuss this further in this post, then lets. But leave comments like this: I'm married to a vegetarian that refuses to eat meat for many if the reasons is wager that you do
not to "make myself look better" but to indicate that I'm very familiar with vegetarianism. I'd go a step further and say that I'm very familiar with responsible vegetarianism. And to associate yourself with your vegetarian partner to make yourself look better in this discussion, well, it comes across as an actof desperation when lacking valid arguments. Smiley face
out of it or I'll not participate. Also, your cute pics make what I know is a serious topic for you, seem trite and silly. You want a discussion? Then start one.
