America's aversion to mass transit may be blessing in disguise here. Wonder if this woman rode the bus home or not. (Btw, given google street views, we can find out precisely where this person lives from that pic.)

I think it's pretty likely that we'll see on the order of dozens of ebola cases in the US, and probably a bit more than that in the EU, given that more travelers from Africa end up there than here. Hopefully, our containment mechanisms (which I think are fomidable) can stop the spread in its tracks. But yes, one undiagnosed patient on the A Train could stir the pot quite a bit, I'm sure.

I believe I heard on the radio that she drove herself to the hospital.

NPR had an interview with a doctor that witnessed the first Ebola case at a Liberian hospital this morning. It's worth a listen.
