I'm not sure why there wouldn't be a simple solution for this. At the very least, slap a solar panel on that thing.

At any rate, I hope it's not an issue. I bought stock in Tesla 2 days ago. I kid you not.

I read that as you just bought your own Tesla roadster, and was about to call foul. I hope that if anybody on here had such an awesome car, they'd be sharing it.

Oh do I wish.

Maybe if the stock does really really well, that can be my reward.

I wonder if you can smell ozone when you peel out.

If the torque is anything like that in my hybrid (which it is) they'll be hella fun cars to drive.

HA, HA, HA! That's hilarious. I don't think it will be an issue. I mean, look at that car... it's bad ass!

Oh it is.

But TBH I actually bought stock in Elon Musk, and my desire to get rid of gasoline cars.

I assume you've seen "Who killed the electric car"?

Yes, interesting movie.

I think the supplier chain is much more fragmented, agile, and competitive these days, so IMO that this is a major obstacle removed. The infrastructure built around the internal combustion engine isn't as rigid as it used to be.

Aside from faith in Elon Musk, that's one of the factors that makes me think Tesla is realizable. I am basically betting on a startup disruption of manufacturing industries. More agility, less overhead, and more distributed. We shall see.

Seriously, how could you not be bad ass with a name like Elon Musk?
