Alright, here is what I made: I skinned a cucumber, cut it in half and took out the seeds/inside with a spoon. Then I cut the cucumber in strips, squeezed out the water and then put it in a bowl along with 1 quart of plain yogurt. In a small pan I took a chopped shallot and browned it in some butter. I added the shallots to the bowl with the yogurt and cucumber. I added some white wine vinegar, some olive oil and some fresh kale. I used my new hand blender and made what would be the sauce for my meal. -ghostoffuffle, you'll note that it is an extremely familiar recipe. I then made boiled some wasabi, mung bean pasta till it was about 1/2 done. In a large frying pan, I heated some butter, white wine, fresh ginger and lemon juice I tossed in my noodles and the sauce that I had made. I added some goat cheese to it. I grilled my ribeye steak. By the way, I made sure it was "grass fed" beef for the "green" challenge. Just salt and pepper, nothing fancy, but good beef needs no help. While this was grilling I took my avocado's and put them in a bowl with some lemon juice, jalapeƱo and salt/pepper. I used my new hand blender toy and within minutes had some amazingly fluffy and creamy guacamole. It was damn good. So good that it didn't last long enough to get a good picture: I plated the entree and garnished with capers, goat cheese and cilantro. Here its the finished product again:
Smoke and mirrors :) Thanks though, it's a lot of fun.
I was humbly inspired. Those crackers are whole wheat!
