As in, the texts are the story. It may or may not be based on an imagined interaction between me and someone else. There's some context missing, but I'm intentionally leaving it out. Make of this what you will.

It is awfully hard work doing nothing. However, I don't mind hard work where there is no definite object of any kind.
This is a great idea, and I love it. Definitely do more, keep elaborating. I would suggest definitely not adding labels (like initials or names of each sender) incase you were juggling the idea, it's much more interesting this way imo.
Thanks for the support, I'll definitely keep it up. Honestly I do this in my head all the time (what would my shrink say? Kidding, I don't have a shrink. Maybe I should.), it's just a matter of writing it down. I was thinking earlier today if I ever wrote a book I could include stuff like this as interludes between chapters. The epistolary format fascinates me, especially as applied to the modern age. Sorry, that was really disjointed. It's late and I'm in a weird place right now.
You may like Chatroom by Enda Walsh. I've never read any of his work but Enda Walsh is quite a big name in Irish drama at the moment and is associated with Roddy Doyle (another famous Irish author who I know I don't like). Agreed. I'm writing something at the moment in epistles. Keep practising and all of that. The epistolary format fascinates me, especially as applied to the modern age.
I think you would enjoy my friend's blog Personally I would add initials/name markers, but it's not like you have to : See Murakami's Wild Sheep Chase
