"what about this is funny to you"

Is that ... did he really just say that? I heard that line from my school principals like 75 times. Amazing.

Oh my god and then his gaming group murder his character because he spawned with the weapon they needed. Oh wow this is beyond hilarious. "Oh no he can't play for 30 minutes" as he is getting arrested. Wow.

Anyway. Backstory? I couldn't make out a lot of what they were saying to him. And he didn't seem too surprised to hear SWAT coming.

Getting swatted is a new thing that trolls do to people who stream their gameplay.

Basically as the streamer is playing, the troll gets a hold of your address, then alerts the authorities about a fake bomb threat at the streamer's address. That's why the SWAT then raids your place.

So the guy wasn't surprised because he knew it had happened to other streamers. Actually, the last famous streamer this happened to, he and his girlfriend were charged because they were in possession of marijuana. Pretty crappy.

Kids used to just order pizzas for each other.

I really hope that any kid who does that gets at least a little bit of jail time.

So I mean, anonymous tip right, or else the troll is going to jail for a while. So the SWAT just buys every anonymous bomb threat they get? It was my understanding that they did a lot of research first.

Yeah it's anonymous.

Honestly I'm not sure. It might be an "answer every case no matter what" situation. But I'm not positive how bomb threat scenarios work.

There was a guy in my apartment complex - two apartments down, actually - that got caught trying to make a bomb. The guy that wanted to hit the New York subways. He was unmarried and buying chemicals from salons and stuff. The crazy thing is, my mom looked out the window and saw a black, unmarked car that we'd never seen before. She was like, "man, that think looks like something the FBI would use!"

Little did we know...

Surely they've stopped using black cars by now. I mean come on.

The apartment owners confirmed it! I couldn't believe it either. But I guess unless you're actively looking for something like that, it won't seem as obvious, maybe? I dunno.

Smart cars. Hide in plain sight.

Pfft, please, we have more than enough taxpayer money for the armored Escalade.
