I am enjoying the resurgence of groups who focus on vocal harmonies. Fleet Foxes offer a prime example of the "Neu-Baroque" sound.

I have been too. I recently had a long solitary drive from Durham NC to Rural, middle of nowhere SC and I must have listened to Helplessness Blues 10 times: http://hubski.com/pub?id=13602 Songs don't get much better than that imo.
It's a nice to hear music that celebrates what we are capable of without studio manipulation, okay, so FF are drowning in reverb, but you get my point. The greatest instrument ever created is and will always be the human voice.
