Been hearing these on the way to work for the last two days, and it's inexplicably (or maybe explicably?) made me tear up the way my wife tears up listening to Storycorps.
The first one linked also provides kind of a nice (and at this point well-needed) counterpoint to the latest examples of police misconduct. San Antonio, of all places. Huh.
My city in a Hubski headline?!? I knew that we had excellent programs for the homeless, but was unaware how well we were doing with the mentally ill. Thanks for this, Texas isn't exactly the bastion of successful social programs, but it sounds like we got something right for once.
