The kit just doesn't sound like it looks. I first noticed with the hi hat - no standard pair of hats is going to give you that clean of a "tick", and even if you EQd the track really heavily it wouldn't sound that electronic. His hand movements also seem just slightly off from the track, although that's more of a gut feeling.
You're clearly right that a lot of those drum sounds aren't acoustic. To be fair, they could be triggered (most likely not). It also sounds like the snare drum is acoustic. I think most of the acustic drums come in at 1:28. Before that, the kick is quite clearly electronic. The hihats are electronic throughout, as evidenced both by their sound, as well as the fact that the drummer stops hitting his hihat once he really gets going, but the sound remains. At the beginning, he's probably just pretending so it'll look good for the video, but then again a lot of artists do that sort of stuff. It's part of making a good show.
