=D (https://soundcloud.com/doctorwatts/two-steps-away-bass/s-LlBMJ) got a little carried away. It might be too over the top and if so i'll gladly re record it. I had a ton of fun with this one. EDIT: having some trouble embedding the soundcloud player. i guess for now just copy paste the link without parentheses.
Damn dude, this is great! Where have you been?
Yeah, I still want it! It's a fun change of perspective, helps me get my gears turning re. how to re-organize song structure. Glad to see you back around.
I can tell you had fun, you can literally hear it in the playing. That was fucking awesome T-Dog AWESOME! That walk at 2:50 is great, borderline comical but remains great. Amazing energy. That was a fun listen. Thanks man. Edit: let's see if the link works for me.
Looks like the song itself is set to private, thus not embeddable.
They don't seem to be embeddable in the typical fashion where we can just take the url to the artist/track and generate the necessary html (I go into a bit on how we do that here). From the sounds of it they have special parameters that you need to enter for private tracks so that you can control exactly where they are embedded, but I'm not quite sure as I can't see the format nor do I have any private tracks at the moment to test. Unless I'm mistaken we'll either need to register as a soundclient in order to access their oEmbed API or parse whatever html they have for the private track embeds
it is set to private, but when you hit the share button soundcloud gives you a "private share" link, which is the one i used above. i also tried just using the link in the address bar and neither worked. I can make the hubski uploads public from now on, but i usually didn't do that before. I think private links never showed up as embedded players, but they still were listed as a clickable link.
As long as it's only borderline comical, i'm okay with it, haha. I was trying to mimic the cool descending synth line, and I knew as i was playing it that it would be a bit much. But if you're cool with it, i am too. I know there's already a lot going on in the song so if you or anyone feels like it needs more space, i'll redo some of the comically busy parts.
I'm very cool with it. I wouldn't change a thing.
