I am reading the first book "Spring Snow" of the tetralogy "The sea of fertility" by Yukio Mishima again, which I read as a young adult, some 25 years ago. It's astonishing to see how different it feels like when reading it through the eyes of a grown up. If you like difficult characters and their bizarre thoughts and actions, you can't find a better author.
