Shit. I should start sleeping.
Idk if this fits in #science cause i never post/go there, if not lmk i'll change it.
I agree with this completely. Many studies have shown that kids are not getting the right amount of sleep they need to facilitate proper growth due to having to wake up at the ass crack off dawn to go to school.
As a high school student let me ammend that, the problem is going to sleep. During this school year my sleeping habits deteriorated to the point of sleeping at 2 to 3 am consistently, and passing out at random points in the day. It was bad. I've always had trouble waking up and am doing my best to avoid getting hooked on coffee and other caffeine drinks to start the day, but the real problem is getting to sleep. There is so much stress and buzzing thoughts and to-dos it's very hard to control when you're so immediately exposed to it. The pressure is hard to keep off and sleep is the last thing you're told to worry about.
granted that makes little to no sense I completely agree with you.
