I am going to admit some borderline teenage animal cruelty...

When I was a teen, my pal and I modified a model rocket that could hold a payload. Above plenty of padding, we added a frog with a parachute.

The rocket launched, the frog ejected hundreds of feet above us, and parachuted down. He looked no worse for wear. We kept him overnight for observation, and let him go the next day.
