Fuck that. I'm taking it at face value and am going to attempt to stand next to you in a social setting.
You laugh. I went to a meetup once. People treated me like Mick Jagger.
Part of that was because there were three girls in the room and I had brought all of them. Part of it, though, was simply being, well, kleinbl00. Had coffee with a guy last weekend who had come down from San Francisco to meet... me. The internet is a weird place.

The Internet is a weird place -Indeed. But also, it's somewhat of an equalizer. I have no idea what most Hubskiers look like (with the exception of a few) but I could pretty quickly tell you who I find the most interesting to be. That's great stuff imo. Everyone starts off with a blank slate (and some remain there). I don't think it's weird that someone came down from SF to get coffee with you. If I were in your neck of the woods, I'd definitely see if you wanted to grab a beer (no Budweiser). Hell, bring 3 girls and I'll pick up the tab :)
