>I pooped up stuff that I"m pretty sure I ate in the Clinton administration.

See, this seems to be the consensus of anybody I know that's done a detox. But like, is this a particularly good thing? I mean, I guess it's not bad, but is it good? Or just neutral? I dunno.

I love coffee like a bee loves honey, and I'm about as good as making it as they are too. This will be the hardest thing to give up for a week, -much harder than solid food.

Well, as far as I"m concerned, if you're gonna carry around a bowel-ful of poop, it might as well be fresh poop. e.coli is 40% of feces by volume and as far as I'm concerned the little fuckers can work for it.

I can help you with the coffee thing. Not having any for a week will make it taste so.fucking.good when you do have it... and caffeine will actually have an effect on you again. In the meantime, though, it'll suck.

Yeah I have to do this before I go to NYC in February, -they have a Stumptown coffee shop near where I'm going and they have the best cappuccino I have ever enjoyed.

Yes! I agree! I am not even a big coffee fan, but the Stumptown cappuccino is definitely a die-for. Actually, more and more study has come out showing coffee is good for you. It can reduce the risk of different types of cancer, and it doesn't matter if it's decaf or not. Coffee has a lot of antioxidants.

Coffee (or more specifically caffeine) has also been shown to increase memory performance in women. So there ya go :)
