Who cares what is being showed at E3 when you can play these 7 PC games right now for Free.
There's loads of neglected games that aren't on that list. Cave Story is entirely free, except for the 3DS and the Steam version (which adds improved graphics and music and is DEFINITELY worth the purchase.) Runescape is still going strong as a free-to-play MMORPG title, despite around 98% of the content being locked behind a Members paywall. RIFT is the best truly free to play MMO I've played when it comes to the actual business model. There's no pay to win elements and even things which you have to pay for like expansion souls (the term for class specializations) can be bought through cash shop gems which can be obtained for gold albeit at a very high, player determined cost. World of Tanks doesn't require you to play a dime to play it, although it's highly recommended to invest money not only for a Premium Account to boost your credit income and Premium Tanks which can get you high amounts of in-game credits but also to convert elite tank experience into free experience to research new tanks and modules faster. MapleStory is also great if you like 2D platformer MMORPGs and can get past Nexon America and Nexon Europe screwing up the localization of the game really badly. Oh and what about DOTA 2? Best business model I've ever seen where you only pay money for cosmetic items. It's also second only to League of Legends as an e-sport. And if you're into RTS? You can always play the Starbow mod using the Starter Edition of StarCraft II and the Eros client for ranked matchmaking. It's basically a mod of SC2 that reintroduces Brood War units and mechanics to the game, but with a few SC2 units retained. It's essentially a rebalancing and redesign of the game's multiplayer to be more like Brood War.
