It's interesting to me that so many people are so in love with her. Everything she does just kinda rubs me the wrong way. Like she's always being borderline ignorant and always an okay actress. Maybe I'm crazy.

No, you're totally right, and the whole "she's just so down to earth" thing gets on my nerves too. And I hate the Hunger Games. And the Silver Linings Playbook was okay at best.

It doesn't make any sense.

This puts it better than I could. Thanks ref, I'll use this next time someone asks why I find Jennifer Lawrence to be off-putting in a weird way.

She's your Julianne Moore.

I wouldn't piss on Julianne Moore if she were on fire, and it's partially because she was such.a bitch in Fugitive and partially because a girl I didn't end up scoring with made me watch Safe.

I think it's more outside her roles though. The ~quirky~, fuck the standards girl that everyone loves that's beloved-ly naive, when in reality she just gets away with it because she's a cute white girl. I don't know.

I can totally get the hate for Julianne Moore though. Weirdly enough, however, she's one of my few Hollywood crushes.
