For the most part my passion has been composing, so this is the first time I've put my developing skills in sound towards a project of this type. I'd love to hear any thoughts you have of them or the animation as a whole.
I found the process itself quite refreshing in a way; not deriving inspiration from a blank slate was a nice change. But it also provided some interesting mindset changes in having to receive 'orders', so to speak, on how it was to sound. Though for most part I was given utmost creative freedom. It was still strange at first having to adhere to the creative wants of others after the majority of my previous work was all in self-interest.
"I think our engines have failed captain" "Does anyone know how to fix it?" "This ship is over five miles of pure machinery. Just because I'm a tech, I'm expected to know how to fix it all of it. I don't even know how I got here." A metaphor, I imagine, for life itself. Thx rezzeJ"Vladimir, status report."
