ManWoman died of cancer on November 13th, 2012.
On the first anniversary of ManWoman's death, tattoo parlors around the world were giving away free tattoos of swastikas to honor ManWoman.
While looking around, a comment on this opinion piece reads, "What an excellent article. Some things are not meant to be reclaimed, and the swastika is certainly one of them." I wholeheartedly agree with this person, as I think that today, the swastika is still too strong a reminder of the Nazis, but even centuries down the road, the atrocities by these few should be remembered, even if it does take a meaningful symbol away from humanity. I just discovered this was a thing and thought I would post it. I would love to hear your opinions on the reclaiming the swastika movement.
