Wow. I have to say, the statement was nonpartisan but also completely without detail. I wonder what his specific criticisms of the administration are? It takes some nerve to do what he did, he must have some strong convictions on the subject. Hell of a goalie.
He is a disciple of Glenn Beck and has been called a true Tea Party hero on Breitbart's blog. I love hockey more than life itself, and I specifically love hockey players from MI, so this is hard for me to swallow. The White house visit isn't supposed to be about politics; its a time honored tradition for all the 4 major sports champions to visit annually so that they can be recognized nationally.
