Now, when was the last time that you thought a pic of a demo involving Palestinians and IDF be the 'light' moment of the news?
First, we have this from Yemen. I vaguely recall seeing something about the Yemeni president in S.A. scroll by, but this is apparently the inside scoop (I guess this really should be under family and not tribe ...):

Then, this (and warning, this is pretty nasty and involves torture) from Syria:

That is just outrageous. (His daddy -- assad's -- supposedly flattened an entire city with numbers in the 10s of thousands killed.)
That last story should properly be tagged animals.
As for kawther.info, I had to look her up: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kawther_Salam She sounds like a very brave person. I really do wish she wouldn't inject her reports with wording such as: "as if the Syrian thugs had taken an example from their counterparts, the zionist occupation soldiers who force their detainees to sing for the invaders. Also taking an example from the zionist torturers, the interrogators in Syria introduce themselves with nicknames such as “Abu El-mot” (father of death), “Abu Shamla” (an unknown insult) and “Abu El-Jamajem” (father of skulls)." Torturers have plenty of examples to work with. It doesn't improve her point, and IMHO, to take the opportunity insults this poor child that has been brutally tortured by violent adults. His awful fate needs no extraneous commentary, however just it might be. I am against any repression of one human by another, and as such, most every group with a political or religious purpose has earned my disdain. IMHO, there is no argument to be made here. The facts speak volumes. BTW, China should try out an international moral compass. Maybe they've decided it's better to be wrong than hypocritical?
I noted that too and was a bit irritated as well. I am not a fan of IDF but Syrians did not learn their methods from their neighbors; that was unnecessary. > China .. imo is strategically dictated to by Saudi Arabia. No oil means no exports and subsequent to that are riots in mainland for food by a billion Chinese who at this point lack "party discipline" ;) China has little room for action. Right now it is useful to build it up as it helps with the 'Dismantle the American Empire' international project (my speculation).
