The one time I made a joke about hubski turning into an echo chamber of atheistic superiority I got lynched by a guy who thought I was religious.I prefer the level of discourse here, and the fact they even when people disagree, they are usually still able to have civil discourse ( there are, of course, shit disturbers everywhere)
like I said, there's shit disturbers and assholes everywhere. The fact that your story surprises me is sort of evidence towards my point. If this were Reddit, I wouldn't be surprised if a large group of people did that to you, but Hubski is different. You can't just shout people down here, you need to back your shit up, especially on serious subjects. In every joke there is a kernel of truth. Do you feel that Hubski is an "echo chamber of atheistic superiority"? maybe it's because I don't follow any religious hashtags, but i've never seen it.
