One thing reddit is actually good for is finding people to take surveys, because subreddits do your job for you (that is, there basically has to be a subreddit for female service members). And r/israel or whatever will get you at least part of the way there.

Reddit has helped me in other research projects but this one has been pretty fruitless so far. I have posted in r/military and mostly got significantly downvoted. The women's service subreddit only has 120 readers total.
