- As suggested, this will be set up into three mini-tastes:
1.) On the rocks - one shot in a tumbler, with ice.
2.) Gin and Tonic - a classic
3.) Another gin cocktail - Might I suggest a Gimlet, a Gin Fizz, a Classic Martini, or a Negroni.
You can participate in one, two, or all of the sections, depending on your enthousiasm and your budget.
So make sure, if you decide to have a gin and tonic, or another cocktail, you've got your mixes!
I'd also like to request that someone be the moderator (I feel poorly equipped for the job). Would anyone like to volunteer? ecib, you were very good with questions last time if you'd like to take up the mantle again.

I think it's still a martini. a "Perfect" martini uses 50/50 each of sweet and dry vermouth. I can't find a special name for just a "sweet martini". sounds delicious!

Pretty sure there's Gin in the apartment. If I get back post work/gym and am wrong I'll still hop on and live vicariously through all the other gin-drinkers. Edit: "I" (see: roommate who has already said I can help myself to these things) HAVE GIN AND IT SMELLS AWFUL. LOOKING FORWARD TO DESCRIBING IT TO YOU ALL.

Go here and sign in. The IRC chat room pops up and you look for familiar names. If you're lucky ecib will be moderating and will set up some kind of structure that involves asking you questions about your gin experience, if you're having one. The structure will go on, along with private conversations all on the same stream. People might not be using the hubski name that you are familiar with.

Yeah, I doubt i'll be able to join this time :( I have class in the morning, can't really stay up till 4am like last time. I know some of you live in California so it's pretty much impossible to find a time convenient for everyone. I think i'll have to skip the drinking club until i'm back in MTL. Maybe i'll join in a couple time but i doubt I can make it a regular thing.
