that's a hard lesson to learn - it's often hard to see the path behind or the path in front (especially covered with all this damn snow) -- but good on Alex for helping in some way.
Lil, you're right. We only connect the dots as we look back. Very important to remember that as we try to predict the future using only patterns from the past. Hindsight and all that.
