This link isn't working but kb is referencing [Parkinson's Law](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parkinson's_law) although the Pareto principle works well here too. 80% of work is done in 20% of time, wot wot.

And if we are talking of work never forget the Peter principle either. Everyone rises until they cannot perform anymore. That is why either you are surrounded by idiots, or your team will disappear in another six months.
