I have been talking with some people on Hubski about doing a podcast about religion as it relates to spirituality and how the word "religion" itself has been tainted by extremism. I'd like to talk about religion and not have it be about "there is a god" vs "no there's not idiot". Thats been done to death. Any suggestions on how to make this interesting?
Absolutely. Ask a question something like this: How do you express your spirituality?
When do you feel most spiritual?
What does the word spiritual mean to you?
Someone can answer that they feel spiritual in church because the music and the prayers give them feelings of connection with people long gone who have said the same prayers for 100s of years. or whatever. It won't stop someone else from saying they feel most spiritual when staring at the night sky because ... I could go on, you get the idea.
I think these questions would be a lovely way to celebrate the spirit.
