History
givello launched the tag of the week tag here. This was followed by #thehumancondition, #doujin, and #birds. On Sunday, the new tag of the week goes to the post with the most shares. So unless there's some objection, it looks like my turn (w/ flagamuffin a close second - but who's counting?)
Last week Owl posted this
- This week's tag is #birds. Truthfully I was thinking of making it poetry, but minimum_wage requested it, so I figured why not?
So far, people have been adding their own posts using the two tags #poetry and #tagoftheweek That's my understanding. givello, is that what you had in mind? By the way cW - I loved the Rumi poem and your explanation of it. I hope to respond to it over in that other post when I get a chance. Here, I'm looking to see some favourite poems like the one posted by givello today. These can be by you or someone else.
Sounds good! I'll give it a try. Glad you enjoyed the Rumi poem! It resonated with me so powerfully when I ran across it, and did something indescribable in me (which is something I look for in verse), so I had to pass it along. The explication was a bit tedious, as explications tend to be, but hopefully of some use to someone. Thanks for enjoying!
Yeah, the idea was to submit posts with both the tag of the week and "#tagoftheweek". See here for the rules I made up in the first post. I think they kinda changed as sometimes the tag "#tagoftheweek" gets added later on by other posters. I wonder how that'll fare given that we're now using a more popular tag.
I'm excited for this one. Ping time: _refugee_, humanodon, cW and all you other poets, I'm looking forward to what you post, whether it be your own work or just some of your favorites. A redirect to the Scolding Rumi that cW posted a while back.
