I don't want to buy bitcoin yet. But I think Doge/Bit/WhicheverCoin might be able to save paid for journalism. And if the contemporary economies of nation-states keep being giant Ponzi schemes for the already rich and already powerful ... then I'm still listening. I would never do micro-transactions before because I'm unwilling to pay a bank/financial institution ANYTHING on transactions that small. If the middle-man (the financiers) could be removed then I would be more down with micro-transactions. Hell ... I would be down for a Hubski TipJar. What I am not willing to deal with for that is the instability. I don't have the excess wealth to take those risks just to read ChiTown articles.
