The Pontiac 6000. An uninspired, woefully under-powered, door handle-breaking turd. I got it just over 90mph going downhill. I kid you not.

My first car was a Horizon. Not much to look at, but faster than my pal's Feiro, and it cut through snow like it wasn't there. It was so light, it handled like an old army jeep. I had a blast with that car. Being a manual helped.

By FAR the worst car I have ever driven, and I think the worst car ever even conceived of, was a 1989 Pontiac LeMans. This is no the muscle car LeMans. Its another level of shit that hasn't been matched before or since. Mine was similar to this, except grey (and free, I wouldn't have paid for it, for the record).

WTF? No way. I drove an '86 6000 for several years. It was four door, unlike the image, and was a shade of yellow usually reserved for 1970s refrigerators or the ceiling of a bowling alley that has been stained by cigarette smoke for 30 or 40 years. I gave it to my cousin, and it just died about 2 or so years ago. That car sucked, but it lasted for ever.

As mentioned below, I had a Horizon too. Mine had no floor on the passenger side. I covered it with ply wood and everyone called it the Flintstone Mobile because if it ran out of gas you could always remove the board and run. I really didn't like it but it had more to do with the fact that it had no heat.

Pontiac 6000 huh. That car reminds me of my grandmother for a lot of reasons.
