What is the thing that will always make you smile? Think little things here. Things that are bound to brighten your day. This could be anything.
What makes me happy? I love hearing other people's thoughts. I love knowing that everyone out there thinks a little bit differently. I also love looking at the sky and drinking tea.
Learning is a big one, I love figuring things out too.
Funny, I was recently thinking about this because I got a message yesterday. It is here. This was totally out of the blue and I really appreciated it, at the risk of pluming my own feathers, so to speak. Sometimes it's just nice when some recognizes your abilities and your talents. Because sometimes, you feel inadequate in those skills, so it's good to be reminded. So yeah. Compliments that come out of nowhere. That can make me happier than usual.
That was a beautiful compliment. I think it's amazing how big of an effect a single kind word can have on someone, especially when it's so easy for others to say. That's something about myself that I would like to work on - letting people know what I like about them and what they mean to me.
I make myself happy. It's a choice. However, sex, food, conversation, mexican coca-cola, seeing old friends, a good film, music and several other things contribute to my happiness. notice how "my kids" aren't on the list? yah… it's been a week… by the way - children for sale - CHEAP.
Baking. I'm currently waiting for a sheet of cookies to finish cooking before I get the next round in. They're going to be delicious. They are quite good... 4 are gone already...
A sheet of what? I made a lasagna Sunday night and it was a very satisfying experience. I'd definitely say it made me happy.
That looks like some awesome lasagna. I made 60 chocolate chip cookies last night, and after everyone had some, there are 44 left.
There is a lot of satisfaction that comes from seeing others enjoy what you've made. Every time I make chocolate cookies I end up eating WAY too many in one sitting. They're not likely to survive past the next day. Enjoy the 44!
Historical romances, partly cloudy, warm days, coffee, learning something new, talking to my parents, solving puzzles and watching my boyfriend dance like a fool while singing dirty songs about my butt.
