I decided on going with #tagoftheweek instead of #hubskidayof. So if you're okay with that and interested, I'll ask you to follow this keyword. (especially Keibler and thenewgreen who are currently following #tagoftheweek).
So the "rules" are as follow:
- Every week, on sunday, a new tag of the week is posted, like for example #ducks or #bad_ideas, to take an example that was succesful on /r/redditdayof.
- Everybody who's interested can post stuff under the double tag #tagoftheweek and the week's tag.
- At the end of the week, the most shared post grants its poster the ability to choose the new tag of the week, which they can do by posting a thread like this one announcing what the next tag will be. It can be whatever they feel like, no rules on that.
- If they don't feel like it, they can say so and I or someone else will post a new tag of the week.
Anything else?
I'll ask you to post tags below and I'll pick the most shared one to start the chain.
EDIT: it's getting late around here, so I'll review that thread and post the announcement of the subject tomorrow morning, for me, so about 5AM EST.
I vote #baking thenewgreen It worked! I got it.
Me too! This is a good one, I was reading about how to bake my own bread this afternoon because I had some free time, but then the store forgot to bag my yeast so I was stranded. So I haven't started yet. But I'd love it if anyone on hubski has their own tips to share.
i'd rather have it a bit long and ensure the content than have it be one a day and not have any participation.
FYI, you have to wrap usernames in @ tags to get it to link. ie thenewgreen @thenewgreen@
