I disagree that incarceration prevents violent crime; it tends to increase it. On that note, grassroots social organizing to educate people about raising kids that aren't sociopaths, increased media about the epidemic, restitution justice, there's a ton of things that can be done. More than I can list here. But statistically, jail doesn't work.

arrg I have replied 3 ttimes but it is not taking I say to my computer not to you. I agree with you almost completely no one is better off for going to prison 90% of folks in there should not be. I think that some folks should just not be in the general population sociopaths (besides myself) and sexual predators.
