Did anything come of this? Although I doubt that length would correlate, perhaps circuitousness might? At least when it's not due to following the contours of a river. It seems that friendly countries would be more comfortable with straighter lines dividing them.

If i'm honest, I really don't know. I do know it was during the research of his paper 'Statistics of deadly quarrels'. So maybe some kind of conclusions could be found there, but I haven't looked into it further.
