I agree that the Republicans don't have any strong candidates and that if it were between Obama and the GOP, he would win. But I think mk has a point that if a 3rd party candidate (say Ron Paul on the Libertarian ticket) were to split the vote on the left, Obama would lose. I don't think the future looks good for the Obama campaign. Then again, he may have some tricks up his sleeve.

Hotdog or Hamburger? I think you're right about that. I, like much of the country, have lost my appetite.

Or a giant douche and a turd sandwich, perhaps?!

The 3rd party/independent I would fret about is Bloomberg. He would attract as much support as Perot, I think. I'm not an Obama fan, but I will support him vehemently over any of the others.

I don't know much about Bloomberg but it's my understanding that he essentially poured so much money at campaigning that there was no way for him to lose?

I'm giving up prepackaged and processed garbage. I want a new American standard. 3rd party it must be.

I'm with you. I'm voting straight Hubski ticket. Who's running?

Seriously though, I can't see myself voting for anyone from the traditional parties. What a shame, I really had high hopes for the Obama administration. I haven't been this disappointed since I saw this: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120915/
