I hope at least you couple this resolution to drinking fine liquor then. At least if you're going to limit yourself to two drinks, you could make it a nice scotch or cognac! I find that the more expensive the liquor, the less I drink, and not because of price. Having something I actually want to savor makes me drink so much slower.

My personal poison of choice when it comes to cognacs: http://alcohol.wikia.com/wiki/Martell_Cordon_Bleu

Martell is good. It isn't the best, though. http://www.keltcognac.com/

I will have to be on the look out for this when I am out and about.
I think Steve Jobs may have enjoyed this, given how beautiful their bottle designs are!
Have you had this? I can't imagine how expensive it is, even for the VSOP. To date the priciest liquor I've ever bought was Remy XO, which ran me ~$170. Not something I would do often, but goddam is it good.

I drink it when I can find it. It's tough to find at stores and the restaurants that have it typically want $9-12 for it.
It's $35 a bottle at BevMo. I've a bottle of Hennessy XO. It's nice, but without personality. The Kelt is almost scotch-like in the amount of presence.

Remy Martin is good stuff. If you enjoy Remy, I am sure you will also enjoy Cordon Bleu. :)

Hey now, I'm not "quitting", just "limiting"... I can have a couple glasses of Remy (note I never defined the glass size)

I can absolutely adhere to this. I tend to savor the finer liquors too.
