This question might have been asked before, but I think people's responses could change as their tastes evolve. I've been thinking about it for the past few days, I just wanted to know what you guys think.
Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Is A Real Boy, and No More Sad Face.
Paul Simon - Graceland. Queen - News of the World. Atmosphere - Can't Imagine How Much Fun We're Having.
Loveless - My Bloody Valentine Since I Left You - The Avalanches Parrot Flies - Algernon Cadwallader
Too tough of a call. I may just enjoy the music in my head. But if I HAD to pick three they would be in three different genres. 1. A collection of various classical composers 2. "Best of the 70's" 3. A soundscape album. Maybe "sounds of the city" or something like that.
I hadn't thought of choosing a compilation album, but yeah that would be a good way to keep it diverse and interesting. I also like the idea of having some classical music. I have never had a huge interest in orchestral stuff but the fact that people still listen to and perform Rossini, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven, etc means they retain their value over time.
Was this perhaps inspired by sounds_sound's post ( located here )? I'd pick: 1. Girls Dead Monster - Keep the Beats 2. Good Charlotte - The Young and The Hopeless 3. Yousei Teikoku - Pax Vesania There's so many different albums I'd like to pick, but if I had to be stuck with some forever, I'd go with those three. Girls Dead Monster I could listen to all day and not get bored. It's kind of my "default" for when I can't decide on what to listen to. Good Charlotte I grew up listening to, and enjoy this particular album (spent lots of nights and long car rides listening to it). The last one (by Yousei Teikoku) is one that I've just recently been introduced to, and it's one of the better albums by my new favorite artist.
