looking for some music to get on my new phone
Ever heard of City and Colour? (aka Dallas Green) if not, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hxpZPCYK2nk - Golden State https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OK4ar-AYSa4 - fragile bird https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mS8xDo-qM8w - the Girl I'd recommend some classical music for you, but i don't know how much you're into longer form content, and there's also like, 400 years of material. lemme know if you'r interested, though.
here's three songs i've been listening to this week. Feels Like We Only Go Backwards - Tame Impala Nude - Radiohead I'm Gonna Make You Love Me - Dian Ross & The Supremes with The Temptations
Nude is wonderful. I used to have footage of one of my favourite local bands (really awesome alt-folk stuff with instruments like harp, melodica, mandolin...) covering it but lost it in one of the various computer crashes over the years.
Keep on Dancing, a remix by Parov Stelar featuring Marvin Gaye my new favorite get up and dance.
How open minded are you? Btw, is it really spelt opened minded?
Didn't mean to put opened, I'm on mobile.
Go Crazy Keep it Simple Take a Nap in the 80s Go Hard Do That Weird Dance You Made Up Obligatory Jack White Be Hip And lastly, Chill out/Cry with my current favorite musician.
You only need one song... Paperboy - Ditty
This was heard at every good party I've ever been to, and was a theme song for me and my buddies growing up before we'd hit the parties or the town for a good night. It's a classic. If ya like that try some Big Daddy Kane! Another one of my favs. Nothing like classic hip hop to make you smile... oh and those flat tops. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2l2O-JOXG_I "Ready to die, because ya petty. You a butter knife, Ima machete."
Sweeet. People don't appreciate real hip hop at parties where I'm from. It's all progressive pop-house that I'm positive they don't even like. First club I ever went to was in Armenia, they had some Daft Punk going and everyone was dancing as I expected, nothing big. Then, DJ cut the sound, the crowd turned to him, and he yelled "PARTY UP!" That was also the first time I heard DMX's Party Up, and the crowd fucking lost it, as did I. Good shit man.
here's something for you. [Alternative] "Very Busy People" - The Limousines
