About to check this out but I wanted to say that I have totally been to Waterstone's on Oxford Street, such a great bookstore, right near the Bodleian. Magical, magical town.

This was a great list, especially the inclusion of The Tin Drum. kleinbl00 -- you would like that they acknowledged the classic Neuromancer line.

Oxford (home of the Bodleian) is rather far away from Oxford street (in London) I assume you mean you went to Blackwells on Broad Street, Oxford?

Huh. Nope definitely a Waterstone's. I think this one, down the high street or whatever from Bodleian. Assumed it was on "Oxford Street" but evidently that is indeed in London. Silly country.

Oxford Street was originally the Oxford Road, which led from London to Oxford, so less silly in historical context.

Ah! Well then if any part of it is still the most sensible way to get from London to Oxford, then I've taken it.
