About to get his next announcement.
Lucky Toronto.
Ha ha, of course I do. I think I'll keep the typo though. It creates an interesting image. Actually no one knows what was in that pipe. not even the mayor. Meanwhile, he just made an announcement. AND IT WAS: that he was sorry. Really sorry. In fact, he was really, really, really sorry. And he's not going to quit. He promises he'll behave himself from now on. No more public drunken stupors. When he ended his press conference with "God bless Toronto," many people laughed.
You've got to be pretty drunk to forget if you've smoked crack. Sounds like it's the booze Torontonians might be more concerned about.
Wow the NYT, cool. He can sure fill a picture, eh? I'll tell you what Torontonians are concerned about. One of the guys in this picture with the mayor got murdered shortly after the information came out about a video of the mayor smoking crap [sic]. The mayor's driver/dealer was arrested on charges of extortion around trying to get the video back. This is a murder investigation which many people think might track back to the mayor's office. Just sayin'.
Note to self, never smoke crack with the mayor.
Wow. This guy doesn't know when to quit, does he? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4siKr6qY8w
It just goes on and on and on. Last week the Globe and Mail's headline was "Another Day, Another Apology." I think that will be their headline again tomorrow. Another Day, Another Apology III. We are living in a really bad reality show and praying that someone will turn it off.
I'm thinking the murder part is trumping the fun-cred part. Perhaps they're building a coalition with the councilfolk in the nearby suburbs (for example, the suburb out by Pearson Airport). -YYZ, yo
Start here. This is making the recent San Diego mayoral scandal look like angel food.
Oh Toronto, you just can't catch a break. I love how he says that it was just once in a drunken stupor a year ago, like that makes it better.
