It's all true. My worry about Koch is how their idiotic attitudes trickle down into their corporate atmosphere. I've known some people who spent time there, and I do have access to information like you pointed out. I don't have to go in blind. I also really, really doubt that my first job out of college will a) last more than three years, or b) be interesting. I'm fine with that. It's the where and how much that matters to me.
That's totally fine. If you're cool with it, own it! Edit: Sorry flagamuffin, this was what I meant to quote: Oops. On another note, I happen to be drinking Porkslap, which is, I guess an appropriate beer to be drinking for this particular error.Otherwise though I think there is something to genital massage that is more than just sexualized "jerking off," and that the ensuing interpersonal bond is absolutely desirable.

-Not sure if that makes sense? Anyways, my point is that 1. you are right, you wont stay at your first job, it's just a springboard but... 2. That springboard will propel you in a specific direction based on industry, culture and connections. It's your foundation. Think about that.a) last more than three years, or b) be interesting.
-Spot on. First jobs are a stepping stone. Sometimes the next stone is in the same organization though and often times it's in the same industry. Think about that. Don't just think of the first job or even the second, think about the career path. Have a plan.
