Wait, Finding Dory WASN'T a joke? Also, I noticed that the years that Disney takes a break are the years Starwars comes out. Guess they want to focus their attention on Starwars, at least for the first while, to help make sure they are good
Finding Dory is not a joke. They really don't want us to have that Incredibles sequel. I never properly watched any Star Wars film, so I can't comment on how good any of them are. To my knowledge, it's galactic politics, pod racing, and a chosen one story line with light-sabers working on the Force. Is it really worth watching?
They are worth watching from just a pop culture point of view. While I'm not a huge fan of them, having seen them has made OTHER media make more sense. In fact I would recommend watching Star Wars just to be able to enjoy the parodies (Space Balls, Family Guy, etc.)
I was speaking more specifically about the Family Guy Star Wars parodies. I guess Space balls was more of a Science Fiction parody, but I too saw it before I saw Star Wars and ended up liking it a lot more after seeing it (Star Wars).
Thats the prequels. The originals are much better, and focus on space battles, the force in general, Harrison Ford, and not having pointless characters and storylines. Definitely worth watching in my opinion
