What are badges? Maybe create a Wiki page that explains how hubski works for newfriends.
One gets to give away a badge after contributing sufficiently to fill a hubwheel. You might give a badge to a comment that you find particularly brilliant or to a valuable post. People searching for the best stuff can look at what is badged for a sense of what has been given recognition by members of the community. Did you see the tutorial at the bottom of your feed?
