I'm not trying to be silly at all by saying this, but it's less the turban, beard and skin color and more the complete lack of muscle that make the image odd. If you were to see this same man but very strong and fit wearing this classic superhero outfit, my guess is that it would be less odd and would turn less heads. Would it still cause some to turn and stare? Sure. But not as many imo.
