I like this song, like a few other guys have said, it has an authenticity to it. It sounds like something you'd hear at the beginning of a quirky film. Also a little bit like Neutral Milk Hotel or Modest Mouse, if they were 50 years old, with a moustache, reading the morning paper (don't read too much into that, I just mean it sounds more polite, whimsical, and gentle). The ending is really nice.
I replied #7 down below, I'm not sure if it will jump up to the top or not? I'm quite new to Hubski!
7. I chose this song for a few reasons. It has a similar atmospheric quality to #6, albeit in a warmer-sense. The Zola Jesus track was very "icy", and this one is more sentimental and foresty. The videos probably contribute 90% to how I feel about them. It has a similar building quality, albeit I think Night Things does it in a more driving manner.
This is why we have legally-binding ages which signify when someone is a minor or an adult. Physical differences can be so different from one person to the next. Thinking that taller or more built people are more "adult" than others is already a large-scale bias, but let's not allow it into the legal system.
