What would you suggest to use with home automazation? Andruino?
And its also so damn cheap!
Ah that makes sense.
Its interesting to hear that people want to play American football, and to be honest I always thought rugby would be more popular then American football.
That sounds like an interesting job! What kind of math?
Thanks for the insight! Is it popular at all?
Whats college American football like?
I saw this one! It's actually one of my favorites, I like how humorous it is.
Do you guys have fraternities or sororities? What are sports like? Do you guys have club sports?
That makes a little bit more sense but still I thought it was an open forum where people can express their ideas.
Didn't realize they banned certain TED talks.
I'm glad you figured out what you want to do! I still have junior friends that have no idea what the hell they are doing.
Whats your major?
I guess I'm the only one to fall in love with the snow style.
As far as demographic all of these profiles are anonymous as far as I can tell Hubski can't tell how old we are or our gender. But we can always take our own census :P
I'm really looking forward to getting a Raspberry Pi and using it as a media center! Think about it, I can stream movies, browse the web, and play SNES/GBA/PSX games!
Congratulations!
I think that on Hubski it would be a lot harder to dig yourself further in, away from the popular meme/picture posts. On reddit you can simply unsubscribe from certain subreddits but here anyone can tag anything as they please and you can't bury bad content. Hence I feel like eventually we will have 14 year olds posting memes or shitty pictures under #photography which would be hard to escape.
Trying to join the Air Force. Slowly and painfully.
Lucky you! For a while my goal was to become a linguist in the armed forces and attend the DLI in Montrey. Sadly, that fell though due to me being a week late/5 points short.
Well, to be honest everyone hates our faculty but overall the alumni love the school since area employers love the UMBC name and will hire people just based on the fact that they graduated from UMBC.
Good luck! Get any awesome internships/job offers yet?
Was thinking of going there but it was a bit too far and I wasn't the biggest fan of outa state tuition.
How are you liking it there?
Well, don't forget to do loads of extra-curricular then! Colleges love seeing that you can get good grades while engaging in other activities.
Not the biggest fan of getting stuck on a ship/sub. That's why I liked the linguist opportunity so much since from what I understand it's mostly land-based desk work with some time on ships. Also my linguist friend suggested Navy since they are considered to have the best Intelligence branch out of all the forces. Sadly that fell through.
Well congratulations on making it through! Some of my friends at UMBC just now finished their accounting majors as well! Took both of them 4 1/2 years.
What are your other options?
Ah, sad to say we didn't have that at UMBC. We only had like 4 social frats and 2 professional frats one of which was Triangle and the second one escapes me.
Well, I'm glad you found a uni perfect for you! Which fraternity is it if you don't mind me asking?
