...which is why the end of it says "ally", eh?
When I sit down to write but can't quite get the meaning to arise, it (the hard to express in words) is my biggest foe; but, if -- usually -- I do end up getting it right, it's more fulfilling. I'm talking abstract -- not music specifically. Music is something that, sometimes, you can't just write about. You really just need to listen to it. I'm talking about conveying the ineffable, like music, in written form. Thanks for the reply!
I meant no harm. I apologize.
Grabbing a blanket and poking my eyes out just enough to read -- that's what this post makes me want to do. It was a fun read; for me, as a writer, having traveled only little, I'm always jealous of the experience.
It's a personal objective -- or so I say. Usually, I skim everything I read, and if, at any point, it catches my attention or what the specific information I'm looking for comes along, I will actually take the time to read it from the start. Speed reading is the only way to push through the over-froth of words out there... well, to me.
Oh, phew. I quite worried you'd take offense to it, but I couldn't help myself. It's a good piece. And thank you for posting it.
I really hope this isn't taken the wrong way -- the poem just really moved me. Poetry is creativity; editing it can take away from the author's personality and meaning. I don't mean any harm... I just loved it so much I spent a little bit of time on it. https://www.dropbox.com/s/8xcrq0qtaayoyw6/Perpetual%20Stardu... EDIT: Thanks to lil pointing out the the double page. I've now narrowed it to one.
I wasn't discourage because it sounded like a local "what we all want from Reddit" -- where ,sure enough, we all seem to get discouraged.
