I believe that all human beings are "smart." Smart just means that you can remember facts, people, events and places and recognize them again later. Intelligence, however, is what is variable in humanity. Intelligence is the ability to take the imputed data that makes you "smart" and use it in a meaningful way. We as a people do a disservice by calling others dumb when they choose not to go to college, or be a stay at home parent, or play video games, read anime, watch TV etc. Intelligence is something that we can teach.
