I'm having a difficult time understanding how he could achieve the footage in the "Stainless" video ~1/3 of the way through this article without moving the perspective of the camera at a very high speed. Originally, I mused that he combines a considerable amount of optical zoom with a small amount of panning/scanning, from right to left (for this particular piece). But that does not yield the variance in perspective seen in the video! He must have relied on composite footage and editing. Regardless, he clearly utilizes a very high sampling frame-rate, and the whole project is quite intriguing.
