My favorite version of seeing Andrew was when he played with just a percussionist named Martin Dosh that was amazing. Andrew is more than capable of making enough sound on his own, but I'm sure he enjoys having more musicians to play with live. The guys a phenomenal performer imo.The girl he was with was annoying as all hell, had that cowgirl southern pride legs-weirdly-spread-apart-in-a-dress with the guitar sort of vibe. The band was very offputting, really.
-Wow, that's amazing because my wife and I had the same feeling. She sounded great, but she was really distracting on stage. She seemed to constantly be looking around at the other bandmates for recognition etc. She seemed very insecure up there, which was off-putting, even if I did feel for her, I didn't come to the show to see that. I did enjoy the guitarist that was on the slide, he was a great player imo. I've seen Andrew with his Bowl of fire back in the day, with several iterations of a band over the years and while I really enjoyed the most recent show it was easily my least favorite lineup accompanying him.
